Glossodynia
June 13, 2017
Burning mouth syndrome (glossodynia) is ongoing or recurrent burning in the mouth with no obvious cause.
The condition may affect the tongue and other parts of the mouth. Discomfort may remain steady all day, worsen through the day, or come and go.
Drinking more fluids and avoiding tobacco, alcohol, and spicy foods can help control pain.
